The Brewsters and Owens, with small people in tow, camped and hiked with Howard this weekend at Delano Peak near Beaver, Utah. It was a great weekend and beautiful campsite at Big John Flat. The peak was very pleasant with wide open views of the cows, mountain goats and nearby mountains. One-year-olds Sierra and Nicholas enjoyed the summit.

Christine and I went up Delano in 2005; there was so much snow left in July, that we had to park at the 1st gate, by the 1st restrooms.  It was a wonderful trip -- lots of wildlife, lots of flowers.  Someday I will go back to Belnap and Baldy.  What a beautiful, gentle yet physically challenging area.
